Community Renewal

Community renewal work in small neighbourhoods and housing estates to improve the wellbeing of families and communities and increase the employment rate in these communities. Community animators engage with people by knocking on doors and home visits. Through an open ended listening process people are supported to identify where they would like to make a change in their own lives and in their community. For those who are not working a personal plan is developed towards improving health and economic activity, others are supported into voluntary or community activity.
