The Youth Providers Online Directory (YPOD) website was originally developed in 2014 by members of the North West Youth Network and local young people. Following a consultation with the North West Youth Network members in 2019, the Glasgow City Health Improvement Team have been working to expand YPOD as a city-wide resource. This work has been carried out in partnership with locality youth networks: The North West Youth Network, Glasgow North East Strategic Youth Alliance and the Glasgow South Youth Partnership.
The YPOD website hosts a directory of youth organisations and services across the city, an events calendar to share health improvement training and other local events and opportunities and a blog sharing updates on local youth topics.
YPOD is a community resource meaning that organisations and services can add or update information to the directory, calendar or blog and will be responsible for making sure their information is up to date. It is hoped YPOD will act as a hub for both youth providers and young people to access information on local support and opportunities in Glasgow.
